Three takeaways from the Ferber-Software user conference in Paderborn

Last week, Pace Payments was at the 31. Ferber-Software GmbH user conference in Paderborn:

Two days with the people who run debt collection operations every day. For us, there’s no better place to hear what users actually need. Three things we’re taking home:

1. The best innovation starts inside existing workflows.
Nobody wants another standalone tool. Collection agencies have invested years in their core systems, and new technology has to work where their teams already work. That’s why a deep integration is central to how we build at Pace.

2. Partnership-based knowledge sharing is what enables AI.
AI adoption doesn’t happen through software alone. It happens when software providers, technology partners and collection agencies share what they know: about processes, about data, about what works in practice. Events like this one are where that exchange happens, and it’s what turns AI from a buzzword into something teams can actually use.

3. Compliance is key.
In an industry that handles data as sensitive as debt, new solutions need more than a good demo. They need to be secure, auditable and built to the highest standards. That’s why we are currently in the process of obtaining our ISO 27001 certification, so our partners and customers can rely on Pace not just for performance, but for trust.

Thank you to the Ferber team for the great event and to everyone who stopped by for a conversation.
